Do I need to book an appointment?

Ideally yes, while we're always happy to accommodate walk ins we're a small business so often only have one member of staff in - if we're with a pre-booked appointment they will take priority. It's also best to book so that the person best suited to helping you is here - for example Lucy only works by appointment so if you'd like to look at her dresses it's best to arrange a time where she can be here.

How long is my appointment and do I have to pay?

Where there are a number of different brands at The Boutique this varies, if you book a hair and makeup trial with The Tori Harris Pro Team you will need to pay for this but all of our other appointments are free of charge. For bridesmaids dress appointments we recommend you allow 1 to 1.5hrs depending on the size of your bridal party. For shoes we recommend around 45mins. We'll always try and leave time between appointments if we can so that you can browse the shop in your own time.

How long in advance do I need to order?

Again this varies between brands. For bridesmaids dresses most of our suppliers work to a 3month lead time and you'll want time for the alterations to be done so we'd recommend around 4months before the wedding though if you order them sooner that is no bad thing! Most brands will do a rush order but expect this to cost more. We do have a small selection which can be turned around quicker. As for shoes Diane Hassall can usually fill orders within two weeks, Faber Novella make to order so this takes around 4 to 6 weeks. Victoria Millésime tends to work on a 4 week lead time but can usually rush orders if you left it a little late!

Do you accept returns?

Again this depends per brand - please confirm with us before you order items made to order will often not be refundable unless faulty and bespoke items are never refundable.
